Scoring a big hundred in the final of a World Cup event is a big achievement for any batsman and Alyssa Healy just did that in the final of Women’s World Cup 2022. Her husband Mitchell Starc was seen cheering her in a heartwarming gesture after Healy scored the 100th run of her innings.

Australia won the Women’s World Cup 2022 beating England in the final by 71 runs. Alyssa Healy played an important knock for Australia scoring 170 runs from 138 balls. Her big knock helped Australia post a magnificent total of 365/6 in Christchurch. Healy went past Adam Gilchrist’s 149 to register the highest ever score in an ODI World Cup final.

She also became the only second woman to score a century in the final of the women’s World Cup. Her husband Mitchell Starc is a renowned Australian fast bowler and he was also present during the game. He was seen cheering Healy in a heartwarming gesture as the batter scored the 100th run of her knock.
