London Spirit defeated Oval Invincibles by eight wickets securing their place in the finals. The Oval side struggled with their batting, suffering a lower-order collapse triggered by Charlie Dean's three-wicket haul while Georgia Redmayne's 53* played a pivotal role in London Spirit’s victory.

‌As the Women’s Hundred drew to a close, the Oval Invincibles clashed with the London Spirits in a pivotal eliminator match at The Oval. London’s captain Heather Knight won the toss and chose to bowl first. Initially, this decision seemed to backfire as Oval’s openers, Lauren Winfield-Hill and Paige Scholfield started strongly reaching 21/0 in just two sets. However, London’s Charlie Dean provided the breakthrough by dismissing Scholfield. The Oval captain followed shortly after falling on 28 which brought Marizanne Kapp to the crease. Together with Alice Capsey, Kapp formed a crucial 45-run partnership, lifting the score to 74/2 after 70 deliveries. Yet, Danielle Gibson and Sarah Glenn struck in quick succession dismissing both Kapp and Capsey in the 15th and 16th sets. With Laura Harris and Amanda-Jade Wellington at the crease, the Oval side hoped to accelerate in the final 20 deliveries. Despite their efforts, wickets continued to fall as London’s pacers effectively restricted Oval to 114/9 after 100 deliveries.

In their chase, London Spirit’s openers Meg Lanning and Georgia Redmayne started well, pushing the score to 33/0 in 25 deliveries. However, Marizanne Kapp provided the first breakthrough by dismissing Lanning on the 28th ball. Amanda-Jade Wellington then compounded London’s difficulties by removing Cordelia Griffith with the score at 42/2 after eight overs. Despite these setbacks, Heather Knight and Redmayne steadied the innings, guiding the score to 68/2 with 46 runs needed from 40 balls. The pair built a strong partnership and with Redmayne scoring a half-century off 47 balls, London Spirit secured victory by eight wickets. They will now face Welsh Fire in the Finals at Lord's tomorrow.
