WT20 WC | Twitter reacts to Fiery Shathi Rani unleashes fury after taking down Katherine Fraser
The bigger the stake, the calmer one needs to be, especially in a global event. Bangladesh Women cricketer Shathi Rani didn’t quite radiate the same zeal in the field despite a boundary against Katherine Fraser in the T20 World Cup clash between Scotland Women and Bangladesh Women.
Under the humid conditions of Sharjah, Bangladesh Women captain Nigar Sultana Joty opted to field first after winning the toss. Despite losing Murshida Khatun early, Rani and Sobhana Mostary stabilised the stage with their cautious approach against the opposition. With time, the pair switched gears including a four in the twelfth over making way for Shathi’s unprecedented fury.
Having hit just five fours in the first ten overs, Shathi stepped down the ground against a loopy fuller ball outside the stumps from Fraser on the first ball of the twelfth over. She timed it well to help the ball soar past the mid-off fielder and race towards the boundary boards for four. However, the batter seemed unhappy with her timing as she expected a six, leaving her furious. Rani was seen seething in a conversation with ally Sobhana, leaving the Twitterverse perplexed.
Quite a different reaction

Good
If there is some one good with numbers can get the stats of batters wrt lengths.

Lower ranked side's batters do seem to struggle to score against a good length ball and love anything pitched up. That's why team restrict them.#T20Worldcup
