Priyansh Arya continued his top form in the match against Rajasthan Royals. But he didn't just attack the bowlers, he unintentionally attacked one of the fans in the stands. He smashed just one six, which unfortunately struck a fan sitting in the stands, leaving him bloodied.

Punjab Kings played their last home game at Mullanpur, as the team now prepares for the upcoming home games at Dharamshala. But this match turned out to be one to forget for the team in two ways. First of all, the team suffered its first ever loss of this season in their last game at Mullanpur.

Along with this, an incident took place which put Priyansh Arya to the headlines. He played a fine knock of 29 runs off 11 balls, with five fours and just one six. But the only six he smashed in his innings turned out to be one to forget. His six went on to the stands and hit the face of an old man.

Following this, he was covered with blood all around his face, particularly his nose. Eventually, the fans who sat near him were able to call up for help and the old man was rushed to the hospital.

Our Take

Punjab Kings and Priyansh Arya both have not responded to this incident of a fan being hurt due to a six smashed by Arya. Fortunately, the people who sat beside him were able to show urgency in this matter which helped the old man to be rushed to the hospital. Fans have also urged Preity Zinta and other players of Punjab Kings to take a look in this matter and help the old man as much as possible.
