GT Team Bus Suffers Fire Breakout Post-Final, No Major Injuries Reported.

Gujarat Titans had a night to forget in the IPL 2026 final. First the team went on to lose the finals against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at their own home ground. After that when all the presentation ceremonies were over, the team thought that it was finally their time to get some rest, as it was time to depart for the hotel.

But an unfortunate incident happened when the players were in the team bus. The bus of Gujarat Titans reportedly had a short circuit, as smoke was spotted around the bus. Fortunately, all the players who were inside were safely evacuated, and the team was able to reach the hotel with the help of alternate methods.

While the players reached the hotel safely, they had to wait for an hour outside the stadium. Gujarat Titans also faced some issues while travelling to Ahmedabad from New Chandigarh, as their flight was delayed due to the storms. And looking at the current conditions, it can be said that the players would be tired.

Our Take

Gujarat Titans are surely not having a good time in the Indian Premier League. While the team finished once again as the runner-up, Shubman Gill and his company will be eager to stand tall in the upcoming season. Even after a tight schedule, Gujarat was able to give a fight to Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the final clash. Since all the players are now safe, they would be departing soon to their places and carry on with their national duties.
