Dinda stood up once again for the Moyna constituency, and his popularity did play a major role for him to come out victorious.
With BJP winning the elections, Ashoke Dinda was able to become the MLA of Moyna constituency. He received a massive total of 127,166 votes, and won with a margin of more than 12000 votes.

Surely he has received a lot of trolling for his high economy rates at the time when high scoring games were less frequent. But now he stands tall as a responsible leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party in West Bengal.
