Dani Alves and Mario Mandzukic fired for Juventus in the first half to secure a 2-1 win over Monaco and earn a spot in the finale of the prestigious UEFA Champions League which is scheduled to be played on June 4th at Cardiff. The Italian side won the semi-final 4-1 on aggregate.

The formidable Italian side breezed past a young and gritty Monaco in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final.

Although Juventus conceded their first goal in the knockout stages of the tournament they made sure they maintain their lead in the match to get past Monaco. Mario Mandzukic opened the scoring for the home side in the 33rd minute, when he received a pinpointed cross from Dani Alves and though his initial header was saved by Danijel Subasic, but the Croatian lashed home the rebound from close range.

The Brazilian Alves was once again in the thick of things when he fired home a volley from 25-yards out of the box after Subasic cleared from a corner in the 44th minute.

The experienced Juve back three of Leonardo Bonucci, Andrea Barzagli, and Giorgio Chiellini had contained the terrific trio of Kylian Mbaape, Radamel Falcao, and Jao Moutinho brilliantly in the first half, but failed in the 69th minute when Moutinho slipped a great pass to Mbappe in the center who got one back for the away side.

Juventus are the first team to qualify for this season's final and will be looking to take Cardiff by storm.
