Marco Silva and Manuel Pellegrini’s job at Everton and West Ham United are in danger respectively, with both the clubs wanting to hire former Manchester United manager David Moyes as their new head coach. Moyes is out of a job since 2018 after his 6-month contract expired with West Ham.

Everton are facing stiff competition from West Ham United for hiring David Moyes as their new manager, as reported by the Mirror. Marco Silva is under huge pressure as Everton continue to struggle in the Premier League. The Merseyside club sits 16th in the league with just 4 points off the relegation zone, forcing the club owners to look for better managerial options. The former Watford manager continues to face the heat after a torrid 2-0 loss to Norwich City at home.

Meanwhile, West Ham also are evaluating possible candidates to replace Manuel Pellegrini after the Hammers recorded their 5th loss in 7 games under the Chilean’s guidance. West Ham sit 17th in the Premier League just 1 place below Everton and one place above the relegation zone. Both the clubs spent some big money to bring in fresh additions during the summer but it hasn’t worked out too well.

David Moyes has managed both Everton and West Ham United in the past but his Everton reign which lasted for 11 years is well known. The Merseysiders are keen to bring Moyes back to the club and the supporters are also demanding his return and sack of Marco Silva. Everton next face high flying Leicester City at the King Power stadium whereas West Ham travel to the Stamford Bridge and a poor result might see the managers face the sack.
