Bournemouth and West Ham went against each other in a recent encounter in the English Premier League. This game came out to be a hard-fought draw for both of them, as the teams were able to score a goal each to end the game with a 1-1 draw.
Both teams showcased great performances in attack and defence in this English Premier League clash, due to which fans thought the game would end without any goal. However, West Ham was awarded with a penalty in the 87 minutes of the game, and Lucas Paqueta took advantage to help the team to score a goal and take up the lead.
However, Enes Ünal was able to score a goal for Bournemouth in the 90th minute of the game, allowing the team to take up a draw. Andoni Iraola, the boss of Bournemouth said in an interview that,"We have to take the point. In the second half, we were closer to winning than them but we couldn't do it in the end."
He further said that the penalty decision was not good, for which he continued saying,"We spoke with the referees before the start of the season. They gave an instruction for us not to tell players to defend with arms behind their backs because it is not natural. Sometimes referees make mistakes and it goes against you. You have to deal with that. This one, they explained and spent five minutes discussing it. The first time it happens, it is a penalty. Now I don't know what they will tell us next summer."
