Leah Williamson has made a great comeback for Arsenal in the recent games, due to which she also received praises from the team's Interim Manager, Renee Slegers. During the international break, Williamson was not able to perform well for England in the games against South Africa and Germany, which further put Slegers to the question for her form.

Fortunately, Renee was confident about her return to the game in form which took place just after the international break. Ever since she returned from the same, Leah Williamson has shown impressive form for the team in its defence.

She talked about the positioning of Leah on the field along with the 325 build-up structure, which has proven to help Leah Williamson a lot in her games. The Interim Manager said, “Leah has been great so far; I think we’ve been building in that shape before as well – it’s just we’ve been building that shape in different ways. In the last couple of games, Leah has been the central player which I think brings out a lot of good things in Leah’s qualities.”

She further continued by saying, “She’s on the ball a lot, she can reach both sides of the pitch but mostly credit to Leah, it’s not always easy, you’ve got to go through phases as a player and it’s not always easy to pick yourself up and look forward, and find what you need to do to develop again and move forward in the right direction. I think she’s been incredibly well from an individual perspective.”
