With Andrea Berta set to become Arsenal sporting director, the club is planning a £300 million squad revamp for the 2025/26 season. Key targets include Martin Zubimendi (£51m), Bruno Guimarães, Nico Williams, and Benjamin Šeško. Arsenal aims to strengthen six positions, including a striker, defensive midfielder, and left-back, ensuring a stronger title challenge.

For the 2025/26 season, Arsenal is preparing for a massive squad overhaul, with Andrea Berta set to take over as the club’s sporting director following Edu Gaspar’s departure. Berta, formerly of Atletico Madrid, has a history of building competitive teams, and his arrival signals an ambitious transfer window for the Gunners.

Reports suggest Arsenal plans to invest up to £300 million to strengthen key positions. The club is targeting five major signings, including a backup goalkeeper, left-back, defensive midfielder, left-winger, and striker. Additionally, reinforcements for Bukayo Saka and central midfield are also under consideration.

Among the high-profile targets are Real Sociedad’s Martin Zubimendi, who has a £51 million release clause, Nico Williams, and Joan Garcia. Bruno Guimarães is also on Arsenal’s radar, with reports indicating Newcastle may allow him to leave for less than £100 million. Benjamin Šeško and Matheus Cunha have also been linked.

With Premier League Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) not restricting Arsenal, the club is in a strong financial position to make these moves. If Berta finalizes these signings, Arsenal could significantly strengthen their squad and challenge for major trophies in the upcoming season.
