ICC World Cup 2019 | Rain likely to make its presence felt again in legendary tie between India and Pakistan

As has been the case for the last week, rain is likely to play spoilsport during the upcoming tie between archrivals - India and Pakistan - in tomorrow's match scheduled to be played at Old Trafford. The Manchester region is expected to witness light showers from early morning on Sunday.

The miserable weather conditions and poor planning by the organisers - ICC - means that the much-awaited tie between archrivals India and Pakistan could be abandoned due to below par weather conditions in England on Sunday. Rain has been a major disrupter in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup and was to blame for the abandonment of the recent match between India and New Zealand earlier this week. The match got abandoned without a ball being bowled and both the teams had to share one point each.

Indian fans are deeply concerned about the weather forecast for India’s upcoming mother-of-all-clashes against arch enemies - Pakistan. One of the most anticipated clashes at this year's global showpiece is very likely to get affected by rain, as light showers are predicted in the second half of the day tomorrow in England.

The Manchester weather report for June 16 reports light showers as it continues to pour on Saturday evening in the same region. The sun is expected to come out after that and stay till about 2 pm in the afternoon.
