Shoaib Akhtar fears more embarrassment in store for PCB in match-fixing scandal
Shoaib Akhtar says the Pakistan Cricket Board would find themselves in an embarrassing position if they can’t prove the spot-fixing allegations against Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif after the two were provisionally suspended from the Pakistan Super League on Feb 10 for their alleged involvement.
"I don't know but if Sharjeel and Khalid are pleading not guilty now, and if the Board has charge sheeted them and appoint a commission to probe the matter then I get a feeling perhaps the ACU head overreacted and made a mistake by sending the players home," Akhtar told Geo News channel.
