Kent's right-arm medium pacer Matt Coles celebrated the wicket of Northamptonshire’s Steven Crook by going down on the ground and almost perfectly imitating a slug. Sam Billings, currently with Kent shared a video of the epic and hilarious celebration via his Twitter handle.

The bowlers in cricket are known for their signature celebrations after picking up wickets in any form of the game. Pakistan's Hasan Ali's open arms and downward fist pump celebration post a wicket enthralled the audience during the ICC Champions Trophy 2017. Shoaib Akhtar too was known for his arms spread victory lap after a wicket but Matt Coles' slug imitation has to be the most hilarious, if not the most elegant, way to celebrate a wicket.

Northamptonshire's Steven Crook nicked a delivery to the second slip when he was at 12 off a Matt Coles delivery. Following the wicket, Coles went straight down on the ground with his arms beside his body as he moved forward in a rippling motion originating with his hips going up imitating a slug. Everyone on the field ended up in tears of laughter except the batsman who took the long walk back to the dressing room.
