Tahir’s delivery was right in his zone and given how early de Villiers judges it, he was quick to kneel with his head down and eyes away from the line to send the ball for a monstrous six.
He had executed a similar shot in last game against Delhi Daredevils last game, which had hit the terrace and come back to the ground measuring 106m. This time, the ball vanished over the roof at deep mid to clock 111m, the biggest hit of the tournament so far.
