In the Indian sub-continent, Star Sports 3 will telecast the ICC men's T20 World Cup Qualifier matches which will take place from Oct 15 to Nov 02, 2019 at Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the UAE. 28 of the 51 matches will be broadcasted live on TV networks by various broadcasters across the globe.

The 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier, scheduled to be held in October and November 2019 in the United Arab Emirates to determine which teams will qualify for the 2020 ICC T20 World Cup tournament in Australia, will have a global audience as 28 of the 51 matches to be played during the qualifiers will be broadcasted live on TV networks by various broadcasters.

According to a report on Czarsportzauto, Star Sports will be the broadcaster in the sub-continent region, while Sky Sports (Sky Sports Cricket and Sky Sports Main Event) in the United Kingdom, Foxtel (Fox Cricket) in Australia, Sky Sport in New Zealand and Willow TV in the Americas will be the major broadcasters for the tournament.

While UAE will host the tournament at Dubai International Stadium and Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium will also be seen on Social media giant Facebook who will carry a range of digital content including match recaps, in-play key moments and other match and feature content for the Qualifiers. However, that hasn't made Star India happy which eventually resulted in ICC's media rights head Aarti Abbas sacked from her position.
