Cricket fraternity mourns loss of legendary Pakistan spinner Abdul Qadir
Legendary Pakistan leg-spinner Abdul Qadir, who represented them in 67 Test and 104 ODIs, passed away late on Friday after he suffered a cardiac arrest. The entire cricket fraternity mourned the death of former Pakistan legend and expressed their condolences on social media.
Qadir played 67 Tests and 104 ODIs for Pakistan and had 236 Test wickets and also claimed 132 ODI wickets. He made his Test debut in 1977 and still has the best bowling figures of 9/56 for a Pakistan spinner. Abdul Qadir played his last International match in 1993.
