Watch, BBL | Chris Lynn gives David Willey shock of his life with huge first-ball six at Adelaide Oval
First-ball sixes are something the bowlers hate to experience, and David Willey went through the horrors in the BBL match against Adelaide Strikers. Chris Lynn welcomed the Sydney Thunder medium pacer with disdain, stepping out and bashing him for a huge six over mid-wicket at the Adelaide Oval.

Chris Lynn gave the home side a perfect start against the Thunder as he welcomed David Willey with an unbelievable hit over the mid-wicket fence. The veteran batter anticipated the left-arm pacer to hit the good length first up, and stepped out just as the ball was released.
Rightly so, the ball hit on a length around the leg stump with the batter making room as he gave the charge. He made the perfect contact as the ball flew off after making a cracking sound off the bat.
The ball travelled 96 metres before making its way to the stands as the umpires called for a new ball, as the viewers are allowed to keep the new ball in case a six is hit in the first over. The medium pacer was shell-shocked before making peace and walking back to his mark with a helpless smile. The home crowd went boisterous as they got ready to be entertained by another chapter of ‘Lynn’sanity.
What a start!
OH MY WORD.
