WPL | Twitter reacts as Harmanpreet leads woeful Mumbai fielding from front with dropped sitter
No one is immune to pressure, not even a World Cup winning captain. Mumbai Indians found themselves struggling in the field in Navi Mumbai on Saturday with turned into ferocious momentum for UP Warriorz, and it all culminated in a dropped sitter from Harmanpreet Kaur to cap off the woeful display.

UP Warriorz put up a daunting total of 187/8 on a turning track at the DY Patil Stadium against Mumbai Indians in the Women's Premier League on the back of a dominant 119-run stand between the Aussie pair of Meg Lanning and Phoebe Litchfield. The latter had a sluggish start but got going quickly enough, albeit not without offering chances to the opposition. However, the hosts were of no mind to hold onto any of them, and just when it seemed matters could not get worse, the skipper Harmanpreet Kaur herself proved otherwise.
The first chance arrived at the end of the 11th over when Triveni Vasistha let slip a thick outside edge off Nat Sciver-Brunt's bowling to give Litchfield a second life. More drama ensued at the start of the 13th over when Litchfield tried to heave an Amanjot Kaur full-toss for maximum over deep midwicket only to hit into the path of a sprinting Nicola Carey, but the Kookaburra pierced right through the all-rounder's raised hands. Litchfield added salt to wounds with boundaries off the next two deliveries, bringing up a 33-ball fifty, and tried to create room again on the fourth delivery to hit over cover. However, Amanjot followed her with a very full delivery, cramping Litchfield for space who could only chip the ball straight down Harmanpreet's throat at short cover. The captain raised her hands in front of her to revrse cup the ball safely, but inexplicably was slightly off-balance at the last moment and let the ball pop out to afford Litchfield yet another chance.
Twitterati was speechles,, only metaphorically.
