Australias ODI Plans Hit by Absence of Several Key Players Against Bangladesh
Australia will be going against Bangladesh in an ODI series tomorrow. And right before the series, the team has made some changes to its squad, as players have been ruled out. Mitchell Marsh continues to recover from his injury, as Travis Head also misses out.

Australia has started its preparations for the ODI World Cup 2027. But for the same, the team has not received a much positive start, as their key players still remain out of the team. After losing the series against Pakistan, the team is now preparing for its upcoming series against Bangladesh, which is set to begin tomorrow.
For this, Australia had already announced its squad but they had to make some changes in the final moments. Mitchell Marsh, who already missed out on the series against Pakistan, will be missing out on the series against Bangladesh too. He continues to recover from the ankle injury which he suffered in the IPL.
Along with that, Travis Head has also been ruled out from this series. He decided to miss out on this series due to some personal reasons. Tanveer Sangha, another key bowler, has been ruled out due to a hamstring injury. This also means Josh Inglis would continue to lead the team in the upcoming series.
Our Take
With key players such as Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh missing out, it also means more players could get an opportunity to put themselves in contention for the ODI World Cup. Australia didn't have a good outing against Pakistan in the ODI series. But they will remain eager to give their best this time against Bangladesh, and secure a series win. It is now time for the young talents to take up the responsibility, indicating that a transition period is coming soon.
