The IPL 2026 edition has started but instead of players, Jatin Sapru was the one who made the headlines. Several pages claimed that the IPL 2026 season would be his last as a commentator, as he plans to start something new. However, Jatin reacted to the rumours, informing fans about his future.

Jatin Sapru has been known as one of the most iconic commentators in the history of the game. And he is also present in the commentary panel for the IPL 2026. But as soon as the season started, he made it on the headlines across several social media handles. 

Several Twitter pages started to claim that the IPL 2026 season would be Jatin Sapru's last. The reports even said that Jatin plans to leave IPL commentary and start something new before the upcoming season. This even made the fans worried, and Jatin Sapru had no idea about what was going on over the internet. 

But today, he finally reacted to the rumours of IPL 2026 being his last. He tweeted by saying, “DISCARDED. What business ?? So sorry to break it to these “sources” , Cricket and good vibes are the only two things I deal in :)”

Being one of the iconic commentators, it is clear that Jatin Sapru will be present in the IPL for the upcoming seasons also. The rumours of IPL 2026 being his last quickly went viral all over the internet, but he was also quick enough to respond to the same. It was a great way for Sapru to answer these rumours in his own way. 

It remains to be seen how he reacts to this incident in the future IPL games, as there would be some or the other fellow commentator who would ask Sapru about his IPL future in a sarcastic manner. The response made by Jatin Sapru has also made several fans feel light, as they would get more of those special Sapru moments as a commentator.
