Ahmedabad has become the most frequent host of IPL finals, staging 4 title clashes in 2022, 2023, 2025, and 2026. Chennai’s Chepauk follows with 3 finals, while venues like Eden Gardens, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Dubai, and DY Patil have each hosted 2 finals.

Wankhede and Johannesburg have hosted the IPL final once each. With the IPL 2026 entering its second leg of the tournament, the fans have received the announcement of the venue of the Finals. Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium is all set to host the Finals again. With this, we will be listing out the stadiums that have hosted the most number of IPL Finals so far.

1. Ahmedabad - (2022, 2023, 2025, 2026)

At the Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium, the IPL Fans have witnessed a total of 3 Finals, while the fourth IPL Final will be played on 31st May, 2026. The stadium hosted the first IPL Finals in 2022, where the Gujarat Titans defeated the Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets.

In 2023, the Narendra Modi Stadium hosted the IPL Finals for two consecutive years as the Chennai Super Kings went on to defeat the Gujarat Titans by 5 wickets and lifted their 5th IPL Trophy. After missing out in 2024, the Stadium got a chance to host the IPL Finals in 2025, where Royal Challengers Bengaluru defeated the Punjab Kings by 6 runs to lift their maiden IPL Trophy.

2. Chepauk - (2011, 2012, 2024)

The second stadium on the list of the venues with the most IPL Finals is M. A. Chidambaram Stadium, known as Chepauk Stadium. The stadium got a chance to host the IPL 2011 Finals, where Chennai Super Kings defended their title by beating Royal Challengers Bengaluru by 58 runs.
