Broadcast Graphic Accidentally Places Indian Players in Pakistan XI
The Pakistan tour of Bangladesh has started with the Test series. Yesterday, a major blunder took place right before the match even started. With Pakistan winning the toss, they decided to bowl first.

But when the Pakistan squad was displayed, it had names of Indian players such as Rohit Sharma, Washington Sundar, Arshdeep Singh, etc.
While we all are busy watching the IPL playoffs race get intense, Pakistan is having some issues of its own. Over the last few weeks, it was on the headlines due to the Pakistan Super League which also came to an end on 3 May. Following this, the Pakistan tour of Bangladesh started with the first Test match starting yesterday.
Pakistan started off the game by winning the toss and deciding to bowl first. Right before the match begins, fans are able to see the playing XI of both teams. Bangladesh's playing XI was displayed correctly but a major error took place when the squad of Pakistan was shown for the game.
When the Pakistan team was shown, the names were all of the Indian players. It started with the batting line-up having stars such as Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Tilak Varma, Shivam Dube, Jitesh Sharma, and Rinku Singh. Among the bowlers, there were some key names present such as Mukesh Kumar, Arshdeep Singh, Ravi Bishnoi, and more.
Our Take
The graphics surely had a blunder, and this has happened a number of times. But showing the names of players of an entirely different nation which also don't match that particular nation’s playing XI has made it a centre of attention. If we take a look at this game, it can be noticed that Rohit Sharma's name is given at the top. But the reality is that he retired from the longest format of the game last year.
