Will PCB Chief Mohsin Naqvi Travel to Ahmedabad for IPL Final?
Mohsin Naqvi has reportedly received an invitation to attend the IPL 2026 final. An ICC meeting is set to take place in Ahmedabad, with Naqvi likely to attend the same. The meeting was originally scheduled to take place in Doha but the venue has changed due to the West Asia conflict.

The upcoming ICC meeting could be a game changer in the international scenario. It has been reported that an ICC meeting will be taking place on 30-31 May, and it was originally scheduled to take place in Doha. But due to the conflict which is taking place in the West Asian region, the venue was changed.
Now the ICC meeting will take place in India, and the city selected for the same is Ahmedabad. Since it is the same city where the IPL final will be taking place, it is expected that the chairman of all the cricket boards would be available for the game in the stands. And Mohsin Naqvi is also a name which has emerged for the same in the reports.
Some reports also claim that Mohsin Naqvi has received a formal invitation to attend the IPL final from the Narendra Modi Stadium. It has not been confirmed from either BCCI or Mohsin Naqvi whether he has received an invitation for the same or not.
Our Take
It remains to be seen whether Mohsin Naqvi will be travelling to India for the ICC meeting or not. If the meeting turns out to be important and he doesn't show up, it will be causing troubles for the Pakistan cricket team. They have already been handed a huge penalty by the ICC due to the slow over rate against Bangladesh. And the tensions between India and Pakistan cricket team have also escalated with the Asia Cup, as this meeting could help to calm them down to some extent.
