Picks for Gameweek 10
Forwards
Romelu Lukaku(9.7): The Belgian has become extremely popular and has seen his price rocket as he has consistently provided solid returns. Everton
Troy Deeney(7.1): Watford will want to get all 3 points against Hull City who have conceded 22 goals in nine games this season. The Tigers have conceded
Sergio Aguero(13.1): For a player of a premium price, Aguero hasn’t really paid off yet, with only two goals in his last 4 games. The player has been
Midfielders
Saido Mane(9.0): The Liverpool player's inspired performance helped the Reds get all 3 points against West Brom as he scored one and set up another. Mane’s speed and work rate will be important for Liverpool if they want to win against Cyrstal Palace, a team Liverpool
Alexis Sanchez(11.3): The Arsenal juggernaut finally came to a halt as Middlesbrough held them to a
Xherdan Shaqiri(6.4): The Swiss international scored twice as Stoke defeated Sunderland 2-0, one of which came from brilliant curling
Bamidele Alli(8.2): The English midfielder has scored twice in his last three games and seems to be coming back to his last season's form. He will have a key role to play for his team, who have drawn back-to-back games and will be looking for a much-needed win against defending Champions Leicester City.
Defenders
Antonio Valencia(5.6): Things look extremely bleak for Manchester United, who have won just once in their last 5 games in the league. But on the bright side, they have a couple of "easy games" at Old Trafford beginning with Burnley, and Valencia will play a big part going by his form in their past two matches, where he has been the best player on the pitch.
Jose Holebas(4.7): Watford fullback Holebas has been very impressive in this season so far, having scored 2 goals to go along with defensive abilities. His team will be up against Hull City, who have been unable to replicate the form with which they started their campaign. The Tigers have also shipped goals like never before, and if FPL managers are lucky, Holebas’ name could be on the scoresheet.
Adam Smith(4.7): The defender is another attack-minded full-back with the potential of providing more than just a clean-sheet. The Cherries are starting to show defensive stability and are up against Middlesbrough who
Goalkeeper
Petr Cech(5.5): The tried and tested recipe has fetched managers great returns and we return to the Arsenal goalkeeper for this game-week as well. The player had a great game against Middlesbrough and yet again showed that age has not limited his goalkeeping abilities. Arsenal play table trailers Sunderland at the Emirates Stadium and there is little chance they’ll concede.
Differentials
Salomon Rondon(6.6): The Baggies have always been a formidable opponent at home and Manchester City are not in great shape at the moment as they are winless in six games. The Venezuelan has a great chance to get a goal against City’s shaky defence.
Gylfi Sigurdsson(7.2): If there is one man who could propel Swansea to a victory against Stoke, it is the Icelandic midfielder. Siggurdson has all the set-piece responsibilities for the Swans and has a selection rate of just 3.5%.
Ben Mee(4.5): Burnley will play at home against Manchester United who
