Australian striker Tim Cahill, who has also made his ISL debut for Jamshedpur FC this year, has stated that it is going to be tough for India against China. However, he added that the visitors would definitely get positive results when the two teams would clash in an international friendly.

Cahill has a first-hand experience with China’s footballing scenario as he had played there in two different teams - Zhejiang Greentown and Shanghai Shenhua and scored 15 goals as well. And as India is going to play China in an international friendly, Cahill stated that India has the ability to checkmate China.

"I am not going to compare the levels of the league for I have only been in India for a short space of time. I know India has a big task ahead but they are definitely capable of getting a result if they are disciplined and are set up well,” Cahil said in a media interaction, reported PTI.

The Australian, who has played four World Cups, has stated that international friendly against China is a good opportunity for India to showcase their potential.

It is the first time that India will play an international match in China, although both the senior teams have faced 17 times in the past. However, every time India had failed to taste victory.
