ISL 2018 | ATK is a hard team to play with good sensations, says Carles Cuadrat
Bengaluru FC coach Carles Cuadrat heaped praise on the ATK team for the way they are playing post break stating that the team has good sensations. Cuadrat also had high praise for his two strikers Miku and Sunil Chhetri who have been their biggest sources of goals this season so far.
The two-time champions have made a sort of comeback after a disappointing last season and a terrible start this season with two wins and a draw in their last three games. However, the side seems to find some sort of structure under Steve Coppell and Cuadrat acknowledged it ahead of the clash at the Salt Lake Stadium.
“I think they (ATK) are an excellent team. They are a really, really good team. If you see in the last three games, they got seven points. We also have seven points in the last three games. So, they are a really hard team to play with good sensations. After the international
BFC are flying high riding on the goals from Miku and Sunil Chhetri, who have five goals jointly in three matches. And the manager sounded delighted with their form and the chemistry his two forwards share.
“You know that I have been here for a long time and you know them (Chhetri and Miku) as well as I know them. They are brilliant players, they are very good for the team. They were very strong for us last season and we are working to get a better level of performance again,”
“I think both of them are really excellent professionals. They have that pain inside them, they have that hunger to work well and put on a good show for the supporters. I have to be honest with you, it’s not my work, it’s not what I’m doing with them. It’s just their talent and their focus that makes nice things happen,” he added.
