Bayern Munich player Thomas Muller admits he is unhappy with the reduced role at Bayern Munich and might seek a new club in January if he doesn’t get extended role in the team. Muller has started last five games on the bench for German champions and is growing impatient with Niko Kovac.

Bayern Munich forward Thomas Muller is disgusted with his current situation at the club and may seek new pastures in the January transfer window. The world cup winner has failed to start a single game for nearly a month and has been reduced to a peripheral member of Niko Kovac’s squad. Daily Mail’s report states that Muller feels he is “fit and still hungry for success.”

“I'm absolutely not (satisfied with the situation). I am just 30 years old, fit and hungry for success - with the club, but also personally. I am firmly convinced that I can help the team on the pitch. A coach has to make difficult decisions before each game. However, the trend in the past five games does not make me happy. 'If the coaching team only sees me in the role of a substitute player in the future, I have to think about it. I'm just too ambitious for that,” he told Kicker.

German newspaper Bild also reported that Muller is fed up with Kovac and will try and force a transfer in January. The former Eintracht Frankfurt Niko Kovac has tried to inject pace in the team and has created a new look Bayern with Kingsley Coman, Serge Gnabry and Philippe Coutinho all becoming regular stars for the club. However, Muller has been linked with a move to the Premier League in the past and rumours have it that he could do the same in the near future to reignite his career.

Manchester United were reportedly ready to sign the forward in a region of £90 million in 2015 when Louis Van Gaal was at the helm, but the two sides could not come to an agreement. Apart from United, Arsenal and Liverpool too have been linked with the German in the past with Bild reporting that Muller rejected several mega-money offers to stay at Bayern, although his relationship with Bayern has now soured.
