Manchester United legend David Beckham wants out of favour Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale to join his co-owned venture, Inter Miami. Beckham is aware of the Bale’s situation at Real, and is willing to capitalise on that by luring Bale to his MLS outfit, which will join the league next year.

El Confidencial has reported that David Beckham is insisting on signing a top-level player, who has a proven track record at the highest stage and will bolster public interest in the franchise ahead of Inter Miami’s maiden season in America's biggest domestic football league. The report adds that Beckham sees Bale as a marquee signing and someone who can drag fans to the stadium for his new venture.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane considers the Welsh International as surplus to his requirements, and Bale was set to move to the Chinese Super League this summer. However, the move failed at the last minute as the Los Blancos decided to keep Bale, despite widespread rumours saying that the relationship between Bale and Zidane had soured beyond repair.

The report also mentions that David Beckham is also setting much more ambitious targets, as he wants PSG based Edinson Cavani and Barcelona star Luis Suarez to join the club next season. It remains to be seen whether Beckham’s new venture is able to attract some of the on-decline but top talents from the highest levels of European football.
