Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha is eager to appoint super agent Mino Raiola as his manager. The former Manchester United player is not happy with his current management company, after it failed to secure him a move to a bigger club this summer, despite offers coming in from Everton and Arsenal.

Mino Raiola is known as a star agent and manages a large number of star players, such as Paul Pogba, Mathias de Ligt, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Mario Balotelli, Lorenzo Insigne and many more. Zaha is willing to make Raiola his agent, as he is ‘unhappy’ with his current management company, USM, and has given a notice that he wants to sack them, claims Daily Mail.

The 26-year-old forward’s unhappiness stems from the fact that USM failed to engineer his desired switch to Arsenal with Palace slapping a huge asking price on him. Crystal Palace coach Roy Hodgson has assured the club’s supporters that Zaha has been a model professional so far this season, even though he couldn’t make his switch, but the Ivorian International blames USM for the failure.

The Metro reports that Hodgson said, “The unfortunate thing for Wilf is that offer did not come his way from the sort of club that he would want. I think Steve Parish has made that clear to Wilf and they’ve thrashed that side of it out. As a result, it is not a major problem for me with Wilf coming back, having accepted the situation. The way he works here is just the same as it was. Since the first day he has been mature about it.”

Zaha’s contract with USM expires next year, and it is not clear if Arsenal will be willing to sign him again after splashing out on Nicola s Pepe. Everton, who made a late bid for Zaha on deadline day, might as well not make an offer after signing Alex Iwobi from Arsenal. It remains to be seen what will be Zaha’s next move - his eagerness for an exit from Selhurst Park might as well see him leave England, either next season or as early as the upcoming transfer window.
