Frank Lampard’s Coventry City is already making some preparations for the January Transfer Window, as the team also looks up to some wing-back options. However, the options which are currently available to the team have also been known as the “horror show.”
Some reports have said that the team is showing interest in signing Kai Wagner, the Philadelphian Union player, but Frank Lampard is not the only manager who has approached him for the same. Various other teams such as Burnley, Atalanta and Parma have also kept their eyes on the player for the upcoming Transfer window.
Currently, Coventry City is having Jay Dasilva and Jake Bidwell available for the left wing-back options if they are unable to get Kai Wagner in the deal. However, this pair has not been able to perform well for the team due to which Lampard is looking forward to strengthening the team's position.
Talking about Wagner's availability for the team, a Pundit from Coventry City said,“To be honest, anything would look better than what we’ve currently got at left-back or left wing-back. We need someone that can defend and someone that can attack. With Bidwell, he seems to be more defensive, or the better of the two defending wise, but he’s also got a mistake in him.”
