Raheem Sterling has not been able to receive much game time playing for Arsenal in the past few games. Following this, the team's manager, Mikel Arteta, said that he feels a lot of sympathy towards Sterling, and talks about the further things which can be done to the same. Raheem Sterling became a part of Arsenal in a loan deal from Chelsea.

In the last three games played by the team, he was a part of the substitute but did not make it to the ground. Mikel Arteta recently spoke about the role of Sterling in the team and also about his potential game time for the team in the next few games.

He said,“It’s been tough and very difficult for me to accept that I haven’t given him more. But that’s the context we’ve been in. He hasn’t started the games and 90% of the subs I’ve made are related to saving minutes or because of injuries or avoiding injuries, not tactical reasons.”

Arteta further even talked about his play time in the Premier League, saying,“I would like to play him much more because I think he can impact the team in a very good way. He’s been desperate to play. I’ve known him for many, many years as well. He’s had a very important role and impacting games and suddenly you are in this position. It’s been for a while now, not only here but when he was at Chelsea as well.”
