After a dismal start to the Serie A 2024-25 season under Daniele De Rossi and Ivan Juric, Roma found itself in the lower half of the table. The arrival of 73-year-old Ranieri, who had retired after saving Cagliari last season, sparked an unbeaten run that dates back to December, propelling the club into Champions League contention. In their latest match, Roma held Juventus to a 1-1 draw at home.
