In the latest business development involving football icon Cristiano Ronaldo, the superstar has invested 7.5 million dollars in a health technology venture owned by his long time sponsor Herbalife, triggering a sharp rise in the company’s stock price. Ronaldo purchased a 10 percent stake in HBL Pro2col Software LLC, a digital health and nutrition platform that gathers user lifestyle and health data to design personalized wellness plans.
The announcement was made during Herbalife’s fourth quarter earnings call, where the company also reported a 1 percent increase in full year 2025 sales and a 6.3 percent jump in fourth quarter revenue. Following the news, Herbalife shares surged by more than 15 percent in early trading. Although Ronaldo has been a paid ambassador for Herbalife since 2013, this marks his first publicly known investment in the company. He described the move as a natural step forward in their long-standing partnership and said the brand continues to motivate him at this stage of his career.

He currently plays for Al Nassr and is preparing for the 2026 World Cup with Portugal while chasing the milestone of 1000 career goals.
