Real Madrid Bring Back Nico Paz After Impressive Serie A Season
Real Madrid have activated their €9 million buyback clause to bring Nico Paz back from Como 1907 after the Argentine midfielder impressed in Serie A. The Spanish giants informed Como of their decision, but the Italian club can still sign Paz permanently by paying up to €60 million before Monday.
If that option is not exercised, the 21-year-old will rejoin Real Madrid next week.
As the transfer market continues to heat up ahead of the new season, Real Madrid have moved to bring back one of their most promising young talents, Nico Paz, by activating a buyback clause worth €9 million. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid have officially informed Como that they are exercising their right to re-sign the player. The move ensures that the Spanish giants regain control over Paz's future after his successful development in Italy. However, the story is not over yet. Como still has a chance to keep the midfielder permanently, but doing so will come at a much higher cost.
The Italian club now holds an option to sign Paz outright for as much as €60 million, and a decision must be made by Monday. If Como decides not to trigger that option, Paz will return to Madrid next week and become part of Real Madrid's squad once again. The club could then either integrate him into their first-team plans or explore transfer opportunities, with his market value now estimated at more than €60 million following his breakthrough season in Serie A.
