Was not tense about selection, says Wriddhiman Saha
Despite losing his place to Parthiv Patel due to an injury, Wriddhiman Saha has confided that he was not really concerned about his place in the Indian Test squad. Now that he's back for the one-off Bangladesh Test, Saha looks to live up to the faith the selectors have shown in him.
Wicketkeeper-batsman Wriddhiman Saha was not worried about his place in the Indian cricket team even as Parthiv Patel made a stronger case for himself with his batting performances in the former's absence.
"I was not tense. I don't really expect anything and take things as they come," he stated after being picked up as the sole

After Saha was sidelined with a finger injury he picked up during the second Test of the 5-match series aginst England, Parthiv Patel made a comeback to the Indian team after 8 years and immediately made an impact with the bat. He followed it up with a century in the Ranji Trophy final to help Gujarat win their maiden title.
