India v England | Pitch curator worried about dew ahead of 2nd ODI
Pankaj Patnaik, the chief curator at the Barabati Stadium in Odisha, has expressed his concern over the heavy dew the state has seen over the past few days ahead of the second ODI between India and England on Thursday. However, the curator has assured that it will be a high scoring match.

The last ODI hosted at the stadium was back in 2014 between India and Sri Lanka. The home side went on to score 363 runs in that game with Ajinkya Rahane and Shikhar Dhawan scoring a couple of centuries at the top of the order. Ishant Sharma picked up four wickets as India bowled out the visitors for 194 to win the game by 169 runs.
The Barabati Stadium had hosted the Ranji Trophy encounter between Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir recently which ended in a draw. However, as the curator had said, a lot of runs were scored in that match. Both India and England will arrive tomorrow at the stadium to practice ahead of the second ODI.
