Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag have shared a great bond between them and their partnership has become a glorious chapter in Indian cricket. Their camaraderie was on evident when Tendulkar wished Sehwag with inverted letters adding the latter always did the opposite of what was asked of him.

Sehwag and Tendulkar opened a lot of times for India in the ODI cricket and especially during the 2003 World Cup when they made for one of the most feared opening pairings in the world. While Tendulkar remains the biggest cricketer ever in terms of impact, Sehwag, with his untutored mind, played his cricket and often rose to the more prized wicket for the opposition. The biggest reason for the same was the way he batted - carefree, full of flair and unapologetic. He never shied away to listen to his heart even though the cricketing logic said otherwise.

Tendulkar, in his autobiography, spoke of how Sehwag didn't use to listen to his words while batting and reiterated the same while wishing his former teammate Happy Birthday on his 39th birthday.

Tendulkar wished his former opening partner while pointing out his gung-ho attitude. “Happy birthday, viru! have a great start to the new year. you’ve always done ulta of what i have told you on field. so here’s one from me?” said Tendulkar in his tweet. Funnily, the maestro wrote every word in the sentence upside down.
