Virender Sehwag praises Ross Taylor in a hilarious manner; ends up having a friendly chat
After New Zealand’s victory over India in the first match of the ODI series, Virender Sehwag praised Ross Taylor on Twitter in typical 'Viru style' and translated Taylor’s name to Hindi and called him Darji. To everyone’s surprise, Taylor responded in Hindi and both ended up having an amusing chat.
New Zealand managed to thrash India in the opening ODI at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and a big credit for this victory goes to the 200-run stand between Ross Taylor and Tom Latham as they effortlessly chased the 281 run target, giving New Zealand a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. Veteran Taylor contributed immensely in the form of advising Latham to play sweep shots resulting in the latter scoring an unbeaten 103 runs as well as his own game in which he scored 95 runs.
Owing to Taylor’s exceptional showcase of talent, the legendary Virender Sehwag congratulated him on Twitter, but Sehwag, being the witty Viru, praised in a different and humorous manner, and surprisingly, ended up having an amazing conversation with the Kiwi right-hander which helped in uplifting the mood of gloomy Indian fans.
Sehwag congratulated Taylor and translated his last name to 'tailor', which is called ‘Darji’ in Hindi.

Along with serious games, such a camaraderie off the field made everyone enjoy the other aspect of the game as well.
