Bhuvneshwar Kumar has heaped praise on bowling coach Bharat Arun revealing how his crucial bowling advice on small details has improved his bowling performances. The pacer also stated how the IPL has leveled the field for both Indian and overseas players competing in national colours.

After wrapping up the ODI series, against Australia, 4-1, where Bhuvneshwar scalped five wickets in four games, he has turned on the heat against the Kiwis. India galloped to a six-wicket win over New Zealand in the second ODI in Pune thanks to some magnificent bowling by Bhuvneshwar who took 3/45 at the MCA stadium. The Man of the Match from the game was present in the pre-match press conference ahead of the third and deciding ODI, where the 27-year-old was all praise for India’s bowling coach Bharat Arun.

Commending Arun's man-management and strategizing skills, Kumar stated, “At this stage, you don't want to get into much about technique and he is very good at strategies and at managing players. He always talks about those small bits which really can change your bowling.”

Kumar shares a good camaraderie with New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson from their time together in Sunrisers Hyderabad and has admitted that playing alongside opponents in the IPL gives both India and overseas players an advantage on their tours.

“It was the same with Australia and New Zealand when they visited last year. It makes it easier for us that we have played with a few of the players in the IPL. But just as how it is easy for us, it is easy for them too,” Kumar said.

“There are positives and negatives of this. So, when we are playing against them we certainly use the experience. when we play with them, it gets a bit easier. But it also makes it easier for them."
