Unable to give decision on Lodha recommendations within given time, says Sourav Ganguly
Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) president Sourav Ganguly said that they would be unable to implement the Lodha recommendations within the given time frame provided. Ganguly added that an additional SGM meeting would be required in order to discuss the fresh terms that the BCCI has put forward.
BCCI secretary Amitabh Chaudhary had recently sent a consolidated mail to all state associations like including the CAB and the Saurashtra CA headed by Madhukar
However CAB president Sourav Ganguly has penned a mail in reply to the BCCI mail received earlier from Chaudhary, a copy of which is available with PTI, in which the veteran cricketer states that the CAB won’t be able to implement the Lodha recommendations due to time constraints.

"The members at the Special General Meeting had taken a decision and it would take another SGM to address the issues mailed by you to the respective associations," Ganguly wrote.
Ganguly went on to add how there was no sufficient time to call another SGM in order to discuss the new issues that
"We received your mail last week and there was no time to call another SGM to update the members of the new issues and then take a decision on it.
"We will be unable to give any decision on the clauses mentioned by you in your mail, within the stipulated time, as it will be against the constitution of the association, in regard to such a matter which affects everyone concerned," he added.
