There is not a set age to do business as professional sportsman, says Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli has mentioned that as a professional sportsman, there is no specific age to enter into business. The Indian captain also disagreed with the people those who think that giving more time to endorsements can distract cricketers from their primary focus of playing the sport.
The Indian skipper talked about brand endorsements by sportspersons at a promotional event in New Delhi. Kohli talked about how he got associated with his own clothing brand –
"I was 25-26 when I got associated with
"As a professional sportsman, there is not a set age to do business because you have to establish a business whenever you start it. It is a cliche that you should do business only after a specific age. I don't believe that."
Kohli also stressed upon the fact that there is a need for maintaining the
"I don't believe that you can't do endorsement while playing. I don't believe in all of that. If you have limited time, you should know how to establish (your product) in a limited period of time," said the 30-year-old cricketer.
