There is no one better than MS Dhoni when it comes to keeping as he is not only a proficient keeper but also an astute observer. When Dhoni says out, it remains that way but today, things changed as despite Dhoni compelling the umpire to go upstairs, the third umpire called Rahmat Shah not-out.

One can hardly recollect an instance, where MS Dhoni was proved wrong with the DRS or while stumping a batsman. He gets it right nine out of ten times but on this occasion, the former Indian skipper forced the umpire to check a stumping appeal upstairs.

Afghanistan were tightening the noose around India with a steady partnership while the bowling side were desperately looking for a wicket. On the first delivery of the 15th over, Kuldeep Yadav outfoxed Rahmat Shah by beating the outside edge and Dhoni wasted no time in whipping the bails off. The umpire wasn’t too convinced with the appeal but such is the aura of Dhoni that he had to check upstairs since he insisted.

The decision went against Dhoni but the instance made for an amazing highlight for the game. It would have only added to the theatre had this decision been out, after all, the Indian keeper hardly gets it wrong and the DRS is also widely reckoned as ‘Dhoni Review System’ by the fans and many experts.
