India's star opener Smriti Mandhana lost her first spot to New Zealand's Amy Satterthwaite after missing the ODIs against South Africa due to injury. She suffered a toe fracture while facing the bowlers in the nets before the beginning of the three-match ODI series and is now second with 755 points.

Smriti Mandhana, unfortunately, suffered a fractured toe after a ball hit her right foot during the practice sessions before India's first ODI against South Africa. This allowed New Zealand's Amy Satterthwhate to leapfrog her to the first place while she slipped to the second place, with her injury ruling her out of the rest of the series.

Indian captain Mithali Raj also slipped to 7th place while power-hitter Harmanpreet Kaur climbed up to 17th place. The Bowlers' rankings, on the other hand, did not bring any good news either. Veteran fast bowler Jhulan Goswami moved down to the 6th place, Shikha Pandey fell to 8th place while Poonam Yadav moved to the 9th place.

Deepti Sharma could not impress as an all-rounder, thus coming down to the 3rd spot in the All-rounders' rankings, while a strong performance with the bat and ball in the third ODI vs South Africa helped Shikha Pandey to break into the top ten.

Smriti Mandhana will be hoping to regain top spot once she is fully fit and back from injury.
