Table-toppers Lucknow Super Giants will play against Mumbai Indians in match no. 26 of the IPL 2022 at the Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai on April 16. Lucknow is coming into the contest on the back of a three-run loss against Rajasthan while Mumbai also lost their last game against Punjab by 12 runs.

Lucknow Super Giants will look to grab a couple of points and better their position in the points table, whereas Mumbai Indians on the other hand will try to revive their campaign with a win against a strong team like LSG.

In their last match, LSG bowled first and restricted the opposition to a total of 165/6. Krishnappa Gowtham was the pick of the bowlers with two wickets for 30 runs. Jasprit Bumrah was the most economical bowler as he picked a single wicket conceding only 28 runs. In response, MI could muster up a total of 186/9. For MI, the lack of runs from Rohit Sharma and Kieron Pollard is hampering their campaign, also bowling looks to be the weakest area and they need to improve on that.
