A cricket game can be full of thrills and surprises, and at times, the cricketers can get taken aback. A similar incident happened with Bangladesh opener, Tanzid Hasan Tamim as he coped up a bouncer from Vivian Kingma and was struggling to figure out where the ball was in Kingstown.

Eyeying a qualification spot for the Super Eight stage, Netherlands captain Scott Edwards won the toss and elected to field after a rain delay. Following a brilliant couple of overs, conceding just five runs for a wicket, Tanzid counterpunched the Dutch side by smacking a four and a six against Vivian Kingman on the second and third ball of the third over respectively. However, two balls later, Kingma had a surprise for his counterpart as the Bangladesh opener was seen in discomfort.

On the fifth ball of the third over, Kingma dished a sharp bouncer that the southpaw intended to hook over square leg. However, the steep bounce off the strip left Tanzim with a thud at the grill of the helmet. The ball stuck into the grills for a while and the batter was seen flicking out before taking off the helmet carrying the ball. While the Bangladesh physio strolled in quickly to assess the batter, the ball sticking to the helmet left the Twitterverse abuzz.
