The best athletes are those who can adapt their skills from one sport to another, bringing a unique flair and unpredictability to the game. Quetta Gladiator’s Mohammad Wasim Jr did something extraordinary as he kicked the kookaburra to the stumps, resulting in Imad Wasim’s wicket.

‌Islamabad United faced off against Quetta Gladiators in the first eliminator clash at the National Stadium in Karachi. Opting to bat first, they made an impressive start with openers Alex Hales and Martin Guptill propelling United to a strong position at 46/0 within the first five overs. However, the momentum shifted when Quetta's Akeal Hosein dismissed Hales in the sixth over, with the scoreboard reading 51/1. Nonetheless, Guptill and Agha Salman steadied the innings with a 51-run partnership, guiding their team to 99/1 by the 11th over. Despite a flurry of wickets, Islamabad's batting relied heavily on Guptill and Imad Wasim's partnership as the game progressed before Wasim's foot skills came into the equation.

On the fourth ball of the 18th over, Wasim delivered a precise yorker to Guptill, who defended it and tried to cross over for a single. Meanwhile, Imad, brimming with confidence, sprinted for a run without noticing Wasim's swift pursuit from the bowler's end. Despite the all-rounder's efforts, the bowler outpaced him, cleverly kicked the ball onto the stumps while Imad was still short of the crease. The Quetta supporters marvelled at Wasim's exceptional display of intellect and technique, leading Social media with praise for Wasim's extraordinary feat.
