Ishan Kishan's 94 off 48 meant RCB had to chase down 232 and even though Phil Salt had them on track with 62, the team ran out of steam.

‌Sunrisers Hyderabad made a flying start in Lucknow as Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma blasted 54 runs in just four overs, including 18 off Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s opening over. Though both fell within three deliveries, Ishan Kishan and Heinrich Klaasen picked up the baton, hammering Suyash Sharma in a brisk 48-run stand. Klaasen fell for 24, but the onslaught continued with Aniket Verma smashing 26 off just 9 balls. Despite Krunal Pandya and Romario Shepherd applying the brakes with key wickets, Ishan remained relentless. His unbeaten 94 off 48, laced with boundaries at will, powered SRH to a mammoth 231/6.

RCB’s chase began shakily, with Phil Salt slow to get going and Virat Kohli taking charge. They added 80 in seven overs before Kohli fell. Salt found form, racing to a 27-ball fifty, but his dismissal for 62 left RCB needing 94 off 48. Impact Player Rajat Patidar struggled to accelerate, and a sharp run-out from Eshan Malinga removed him for 18. Jitesh Sharma’s quick 24 gave RCB faint hope, but his wicket in the 17th over triggered a collapse. Tim David’s dismissal soon after sealed the result, and Hyderabad bowled out RCB for 189 with one ball to spare, sealing a dominant win.
