โ€ŒThe do-or-die fixture between Pakistan and Bangladesh has begun, and the winner will be facing the Indian team in the final on Sunday. Though Pakistan was considered the favorites to win the game, it was the Bangladesh bowlers who came out on top as they restricted the Green Shirts to a score of 27/2 in the powerplay. The struggles for the batters continued as Fakhar Zaman was dismissed straight after the first six overs of the game.

The left-handed opener did not manage to find his rhythm in his sluggish-looking 20-ball knock and was finally dismissed on the third delivery of the seventh over by Rishad Hossain. As soon as Fakhar gave a simple catch to long-off, Bangladesh coach Mushtaq Ahmed was seen smiling in the dugout after Fakhar's misery at crease was ended by the leggie and it seemed like the Banglades's spin-bowling coach was impressed by his protege who dismissed one of the most dangerous batters in Pakistan cricket. This was a great piece of bowling by the leggie which was appreciated by one of the legebnday figures in the game.
