Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Chennai Super Kings clash was not just banger on the field, it was also banger on the internet. A controversial moment happened in yesterday's game, which has triggered a banter between the two franchises. And it happened when CSK had almost lost the hopes of winning the match.
Shivam Dube, the one last hope for the team, was batting on the crease as Abhinandan Singh was handed the ball. After this wicket, RCB posted a video of Jitesh’s catch on their social media handles. But the caption of the video brought down a banter between the two teams. RCB captioned the photo by saying,“Ek tha jo wicket ke piche se.”This is a line which is mainly used for MS Dhoni.
Our Take
The tweet by Royal Challengers Bengaluru was surely targeting MS Dhoni, since he was not playing for Chennai Super Kings in the last game. However, it should also be noted that these funny banters are what makes the IPL even more exciting for the fans. The clash between RCB and CSK was the only one in this season, and fans would now be waiting to see whether they clash in the playoffs or not.
